Worthing Roundels

A community-led public art installation at Worthing Station, featuring a series of mosaic plaques.

Roundels are created from glazed tiles, handcrafted by local residents and schoolchildren. Each tile incorporates words, symbols, and images of personal significance, collectively reflecting the town’s identity—its seaside charm, historical legacy, and notable residents.

Created by Maud Milton and Artyface in collaboration with Southern Rail, St. Andrew’s School, Ardex, Marmox, Collonade House and local Artist, Alica Mara, as part of West Sussex County Council’s improvement works to Railway Approach and Cross Street, Worthing, West Sussex.
